Good things

Two friends, a love of cozy evenings, and a small spark of an idea.
Ember & Oak began with a simple wish: to bring a little everyday warmth into the places we call home. Today, we hand-pour natural soy candles in small batches, blending grounding scents inspired by hearth and forest.
Every candle is poured, cured, and finished by hand. From the fragrance to the final label, we care about quality, simplicity, and the quiet joy of a well-made thing.

Chaya Bennett
Founder & candle maker
For Chaya, it started with candles made as gifts for friends and family. The requests kept coming, and a kitchen-table hobby grew into a small studio filled with warmth.
She personally selects every fragrance blend and still pours each candle by hand, giving careful attention to wicks, wax temperature, and cure times.
Away from the worktable, you'll find her hiking with her dog, hunting for vintage mugs, or dreaming up a new scent on a long winter evening.

Candle care
Make it last
Trim the wick to a quarter inch before each burn and let the first burn run 2 hours, so the wax pool reaches the edge of the jar. Even burns give every candle its full hours of light.
